- 4 medium size potatoes boiled

- 1 tsp jeera
- for Besan batter-
- 1 and 1/2 cups besan
- 1 tsp 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- as required Buns
- as required Pudina chutney
- as required Tomato ketchup
Steps to make to make Vada pav
- Grind coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chilli to fine paste..take a pan add oil now add mustard seeds and jeera saute well add ground paste to it.Cook for a while and make sure it doesnt have any water remaining.
- Add this green mixture to boiled potatoes add salt and mix well..now make balls from it and keep aside.
- Make the batter of besan by adding besan, salt, red chilli powder and water. Make little thick paste add very little baking soda to it..
- Now dip the balls into the batter and deep fry them.
- Take buns cut into halves apple ketchup and pudina chutney..Add vadas in between and serve with chutneys and whole green chillies and it's ready.
